Musicfest 2021, on Saturday 28 August, was a statewide celebration of local, participatory music! See the program below for details of the stellar lineup of music leaders and workshops that included soulful harmonies, latin rhythms, folk tunes & popular songs – with arrangements to suit all instruments, voices and levels of experience.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to the lockdown restrictions applying at the time, the planned face-to-face Hubs in Mildura, Ballan and Emerald were replaced by online Zoom workshops; tickets for these face-to-face events were refunded. All workshops in the program below still ran on the day and our leaders and tech wizards brought everyone a beautiful, interactive, live, online experience directly to your homes.

Sunday – Commmunity Music Leaders Forum

Leaders were able to catch up with their friends and colleagues at the FREE Music Leaders Brunch 10-11:30am Sunday 29 August. Lyndal Chambers and Brian (Strat) Strating welcomed Catherine Threlfall who facilitated a discussion on inclusive and accessible community music leading: how are we already doing it and how can we do it better? There was plenty of time for reflecting together on our experiences.
