› Welcome to MUSO – our 2020 ukulele revolution!
Beginning Monday, 20 January, we are growing a new ukulele community! Each fortnight MUSOs will boldly enter new uke territory with songs and arrangements designed to extend current skills and learn new ones. Comfortable beginner strummers* through to accomplished noodlers will all find something of interest at MUSO and we promise that singing will get just as much love as the fab four strings.
Term 1: 5 fortnightly sessions (Mondays)
Dates 20 January, 3 February, 17 February, 2 March, 16 March
TIme 7pm – 8:30pm Mondays, fortnightly
Price $80 ($70 conc) for a five week term. $20 ($15 conc) casual
100% of profits from first term will be donated to support bushfire recovery programs.
* Budding MUSOs (i.e. absolute beginners) are welcome to sign up for individual or small group lessons to get up to speed before joining MUSO the following term.

MUSO is all about the blend - making music together while helping each of us develop our unique voice. Each fortnight MUSOs will luxuriate in vocal harmony, while extending our uke playing, as we bust out new arrangements that transcend the ukulele canon.

Craig & Nicki are the hosts of Real Live Music, and are constantly in awe of the humble ukulele’s ability to bring people together while simultaneously helping each of us find our unique voice. Nicki is an experienced singing leader specialising in social inclusion and diverse ability choirs. Craig regularly accompanies and supports choirs and teaches guitar, bass and ukulele. Both trained teachers, they have recently been involved in running a variety of workshops including: Songwriting for Ukulele (Whittlesea Uke Muster), Harmony Singing with Songrise (Turramurra Folk Music Camp, CMVic Singing camp - Amberley, etc), Kids music making (Community Music Victoria's Music Camp - Grantville).
