    The ‘That Girl’ Statewide project will culminate in a launch during the United Nations 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2019 on Saturday 7 December.

     ‘That Girl’ Mass choir/ Flash mob dance and video launch.

    “That Girl” is inviting singers and dancers, everyday men and women, activists and artists to learn the song or the dance and come together for the empowerment and safety of women and girls from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

    Singing Leaders: Teach your choir Sarah Mandie’s “That Girl” song with tantalising harmonies and groovy rhythms. Or Learn the song on your own and come to ONE rehearsal with Sarah.

    Learn the Bollywood dance in a group or individually and attend ONE rehearsal with Bollywood dance teacher Marshie Perera Rajkumar from Jhoom Bollywood. (venue to be confirmed) Or learn the Hiphop dance from an online video and rehearse with the girls who appear in the video.

    That Girl Launch

    December 7th 6.30pm-8.30pm 

    Trades Hall Courtyard/Loading bay. Cnr. Victoria & Lygon Streets, Carlton South

    This event will have a $5 ticket entry to be donated to refuge for women and children victims of family violence.
