Join us as singers and audience to commemorate Hiroshima Day, the first use of nuclear weapons in war.
The Victorian Trade Union Choir, Brunswick Rogues Choir, Serenading Adela singers and friends will gather and lead the audience in songs for peace. Participating choirs will each present one or two songs, and; and promise a few simple numbers to join on the spot.
You can join the commemoration in several ways – it's all free, but please RSVP through the "Ticket" link:

The fabulous Riff Raff Radical Marching Band will also join us. Our "massed choirs" will sing the historic "Never again the A-Bomb", popularised by Pete Seeger Choir leaders will be Emily Hayes, Jeannie Marsh, and Michael Roper.
We'll perform in the Trades Hall loading bay, with some heating but plenty of fresh air. Enter via Trades Hall's Lygon Street driveway.
