Hybrid sessions, involving both in-room and online participation, allow you to: 

• Run more inclusive community music sessions
• Reach new participants with your workshops and events
• Manage the risks of snap lockdowns without needing to cancel

Join us to explore the technology and the people-skills behind supporting the needs of participants, exploring models starting from the simple to the more complex.

CMVic’s upcoming Musicfest will showcase a blend of onsite and online delivery: some participants will be singing and playing in rooms, and others will attend via an enhanced Zoom experience. This “hybrid” approach is not only more inclusive, allowing a low cost, no travel option for the whole state (and beyond!), but also more easily adapted should there be another snap lockdown. Craig Barrie, CMVic’s Digital Coordinator, will lead a behind-the-scenes look at how to create and support better hybrid sessions.
