Music Software Workshop #6: Musescore (online)

Our first Music Software Workshop for 2021 focused on MuseScore - a popular and free music notation software packed with useful features for music leaders and group participants.

Nicki Johnson, Oli Hinton, and Bruce Watson shared their expertise in using MuseScore for community choirs and bands. Topics included: setting up a score, quick and easy methods to input notation, sharing easy-to-read scores transposed and formatted for different instruments, using playback functions to improve participant learning and practice. As always there were plenty of opportunities to ask questions and dig deeper into features.
