› CMVic Music Software Workshop - No 2 (Audacity)

CMVic is running a series of online workshops for community music leaders who are already using, or who wish to use, music software to prepare music or songs for their groups, whether that's online or face-to-face.

Feedback from the first workshop showed strong interest in Audacity, and so the second of these workshops focused on its use in preparing multi-track audio recordings of singers or instrumentalists, and how these can be used for teaching by group leaders and learning by group members. It was based around a few practical examples.

This free online workshop on Audacity was on Monday 5th Oct from 4:30 to 5:45pm; many thanks indeed to Bruce Watson for a super clear presentation of the more complicated effects available for anyone wanting to put together multi-track audio.
