› CMVic Music Software Workshop - No 1 (Overview)

CMVic is running a series of online workshops for community music leaders who are already using, or who wish to use, music software to prepare music or songs for their groups, whether that's online or face-to-face.  The first of these workshops was on Monday 7th Sep from 4:30 to 5:45pm. The topic was a brief overview of five key types of free or nearly free software:

1. Notation software: Musescore
2. Digital Audio Workstations: Audacity
3. Bandlab and Garageband
4. Video Editing software: Filmora 9
5. Software for making shared projects and backing tracks: Acapella
