› ‘The Song Collective’ A Project from Uni Melbourne30/Sep/2021
'The Song Collective’ is a free 10-week online music-based community program that aims to address the need to explore new ways of promoting social connectedness, participation, and wellbeing in older adults, particularly in the context of COVID-19.
Group members will have the opportunity to share music, stories and experiences, interact and socialise, and develop further knowledge, skills and confidence in using music and technology as a resource in daily life.
The University of Melbourne is seeking support from health professionals and organisations throughout Victoria by means of promotion of The Song Collective study to relevant and interested people living in the community.
Please see the flyer below detailing the study. If you know or work with anyone who may be interested, please feel free to pass on the flyer and/or share our contact details. If you would like any further information, a member of our research team would be more than happy to talk to you and/or your teams about referrals and recruitment should that be of interest. If you have means to share word of the study amongst your own networks, we’d be most grateful for that also.
To register your interest or to find out more about participating in a Song Collective program, please email
