› Take your ukulele out of lockdown!
Did you start learning ukulele during lockdown? Or have you been wanting to try playing - something - but haven’t got round to it, or think it looks too hard? Uke is fun and portable, and most people can learn the basics quickly.
Margaret Crichton runs classes for various skill levels at neighbourhood houses and community centres in Burwood, Ashburton, Balwyn and Chadstone, with classes for beginners starting in term 2 in Burwood and Ashburton. (No ukulele needed for first class - come and try different sizes and get advice on what will suit you best)
Beginners plus and intermediate classes will learn some picking and plucking, strum rhythms and tab reading. Everyone learns at their own pace and we all aim to have fun while learning a new skill.
Playing with a group is rewarding - and a great way to learn!
