    31/Mar/2022

Camberwell Chorale is a non-auditioned community choir, which has been delighting audiences with the presentation of quality choral music since 1944.  Each performance is in association with the skilled musicians of the Camerata Orchestra and some of Melbourne’s most talented soloists, and our Musical Director for the last 48 years, Douglas Heywood OAM, guides our musical success with careful preparation for performances which are a delight for all involved.

Given the rigours of COVID which were forced upon us for so long, to now be together again rehearsing for the first performance in our 2022 Concert Series is an absolute joy!   As you can see below, on Sunday, 1 May the Chorale will be performing some glorious Handel works, along with a “touch” of Haydn, and it is not too late for you to experience the challenge and absolute thrill of performing quality choral music before a captive and most appreciate audience.  All voice parts are most welcome.  (Learning resources are available.)
