  • › Baba Yaga - A warm up round!

Having just covered fairy stories in Remote Learning, I thought I might send a little warm-up round to share in the newsletter. For those who are managing to sing somehow. Baba Yaga is an Eastern European Folk Tale about Baba Yaga, the old crone / witch who lives in the forest and sometimes may eat children. She lives in a house mounted on chicken legs (perhaps a reference to the houses on stilts in Siberia?) surrounded by a human bone fence! Yes, one of those stories designed to frighten children and make them do what their parents tell them to do!
The music came from Anna Struth originally. The mp3 sound track is available at Rounds - Harold St Junction. If anyone has trouble downloading this great little round, I have notated it and can send it to them.
