Connect with your peers and stay up to date via CMVic's Facebook. This includes the Singing Leaders' Lounge and Music Group Leaders' Lounge private groups where leaders can connect and share ideas, resources and support. We regularly add speciallist groups and pages such as the Music Software Forum and regional pages such as the Murray Mallee Music Makers page and CMVic North East group. We're also regularly posting on Instagram!

You can find a group by searching our extensive database. 

Our main focus is on assisting individuals to find a creative outlet, experiencing the simple joy and sense of community that comes from making music with others. We maintain a huge database of musical groups and sessions all over Victoria which can help you to find a singing or music-making group that suits you in terms of location, style, session times and interest.

Become a CMVic Member

Singing leaders, participants, committee members, and friends of community music are welcome to become a CMVic member. 

  • For less than $1 per week you can help CMVic to support community music making in Victoria.
  • See the range of CMVic Member benefits including 20% off our events and products in our Online Store.

We service a network of members who lead singing sessions and groups around Victoria. This involves hosting gatherings, at which participants exchange experience, skills and repertoire.When employment opportunities come to our notice, we can pass them on to members.

Volunteer

CMVic is a truly volunteer driven organisation with around 30 fabulous volunteers working from home around the state and in our brand new office in Collingwood Yards.
