Welcome to the September edition of Shout!

As the weather warms up and we come out of hibernation there’s plenty of opportunities to reconnect with your music making folks.  Save the date, October 21-22, for Song Village, CMVic’s reimagined weekend singing retreat. GCM Outer West is cooking up a Community Singalong on 8 October (more details soon) to follow last week’s amazing Choir Jam.

Instrumentalists will find a veritable feast of opportunities below: Rosewood tickets are on sale until 15 September, there’s a new Hood Jam designed for all levels, and did someone say Accordion Festival?!

We are excitedly looking forward to hearing original songs from young people of Outer Western Melbourne at Dream Big Youth Music Festival, starting 10:30am – 6:00pm Thursday 14 September. Live at the Bowery Theatre and simulcast on Live FM: to receive the livestream link password please register by 9pm Wednesday 13 September by emailing Nicki Johnson .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

See all the upcoming opportunities below… and we’ve updated our Music Making Festivals Calendar. To have your event included please fill out this Google Form.

Happy music making!
