Hello, happy new year and welcome to Shout!
We’re excited to be shaking out our crumpled tail feathers albeit in a carefully observed two-metre stylee, and looking forward to more singing and instrumental music-making together in 2021.
CMVic’s own singing group, Flinders Lane Community Voices is back for a final summer fling until the end of the month. Come and join us online if you’re free at lunchtimes on a Thursday!
On Monday 8th February, CMVic’s Music Software Workshop #6 will be all about de-mystifying MuseScore. The workshop’s free and online and everyone is welcome. Nicki Johnson, Oli Hinton, and Bruce Watson will share tips to help you arrange pieces in a new way for the new year.
Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this month’s listings and events, it’s fabulous to feel things starting up again, and thank you to Kass for returning for another round of glorious inbox-clearing.
We'd love to help you share the word about any singing or playing opportunities you are planning for March and beyond! Please send the info to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) by February 22nd and we'll include it in our listings and on the CMVic Facebook page.
Happy singing; happy playing and fingers crossed for a 28th doughnut day in Victoria tomorrow and the implications this will hopefully have for us all!
With warm wishes,
The CMVic Communications team
